What is Process Group Therapy?

Process Group Therapy is a type of psychotherapy where a small group of participants meets regularly with a licensed therapist to discuss and work through shared challenges and experiences. This approach allows group members to connect with others who may be facing similar struggles, such as relationship conflicts, self-esteem issues, and trauma.

In Process Group Therapy, participants can:

Share experiences and perspectives to better understand themselves and others

Learn coping strategies from both the therapist and fellow group members

Build a sense of community by reducing feelings of isolation

Practice social skills in a safe and structured environment

During each weekly session, participants engage in real-time emotional exchanges, offering perspectives and feedback, building resilience, and working toward healing and self-empowerment. I will be present as the therapist and facilitator for all sessions, helping members reflect on past experiences, and making thoughtful connections between their thoughts, actions, and emotions. Process groups at All Out Psychotherapy & Consultation are limited in size, with 6-8 participants and myself as therapist/facilitator. Our groups run for 8 weeks.
